What is MIMO OTA
MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) delivers the promise of 5G – enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) that provides higher bandwidth and data rate services to end users. 5G mobile devices are equipped with MIMO technology, which brings new challenges for testing. To ensure the performance of these increasingly complex devices in the real-world environment (see Figure 1), you need a good test system that evaluates the full device, including antenna, the baseband, and the algorithms therein, to maximize the data rate for the end user.
